What is Christian Counseling?

Christian Counseling:

...is based on the sixty-six books of God's Holy Bible.

...is Christ centered. Looking to Jesus as our supreme

example regarding how we ought to conduct ourselves

here on earth. (Hebrews 12:2)
 

...places a strong emphasis on forgiveness of others as

well as learning how to forgive and love ourselves.

(Luke 24:47)

...is victory oriented.... believing God's promise that

through a strong relationship with Jesus Christ we are

able to find solutions to the difficulties this world brings.

(1 John 5:4)
 

...seeks God's Holy Spirit to help us to be wise and to

learn how to allow the Holy Spirit to comfort us with

eternal hope. (John 14:16, Titus 3:5-7)
